Organizers: Pro-Life Freedom Ride a Success Despite Pro-Abortion Opposition: The first Pro-Life Freedom Ride was a resounding success, despite the fact that more than 150 Freedom Riders were turned away Saturday from the King Center in Atlanta, where they had planned a prayer vigil at the Tomb of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Saturday’s three-hour ride to Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church was preceded by a protest outside an abortion mill in Birmingham.
