Will She or Won’t She? Neuhaus Gives Conflicting Comments Regarding Her Return to Abortion

Will She or Won’t She? Abortionist Neuhaus Gives Conflicting Comments Regarding Her Return to the Abortion Cartel :Operation Rescue: A new article has appeared in the overtly liberal and radically pro-abortion The Pitch magazine attempting to sympathetically portray Kansas abortionist Ann Kristin Neuhaus, who faces possible license revocation by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts for horrendous record keeping and illegal late-term abortion referrals. That case is based on a complaint filed by Operation Rescue.

During the interview Neuhaus claimed she was out of the abortion business forever. “I’m done with this whole women’s-right issue. It’s definitely an underserved population, but I’m done. Not even in the wildest imaginable situation would I do it again. I would even sign a statement that I wouldn’t do it again. I’m certainly not going to be working for Dr. Tiller again, am I? And we’re not going to have a clinic like that ever again.” But in an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that aired February 23, 2011, Neuhaus sang a different tune.

Report shows condom use fails to decrease teen pregnancy, STDs :: EWTN News: An October 2011 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported an increase in condom use by teenagers of both sexes between the ages of 15 and 19. Eighty percent of teenage males reported using a condom in their first sexual encounter, up by nine percentage points from 2002. Close to 75 percent of teenage males said they used a condom in their most recent sexual encounter, up from 70.7 percent in the previous study. Around 96 percent of sexually active teenage females reported having ever used a condom, compared to over 93 percent in 2002.

Gardasil victims speak out in videos

In two new videos, Dr. Joseph Mercola notes that the U.S. government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System database indicates that Gardasil has been linked to 49 sudden deaths, 213 permanent disabilities, 137 reports of cervical dysplasia, 41 reports of cervical cancer, and thousands of adverse events reports, ranging from headaches and nausea, to outbreaks of genital warts, anaphylactic shock, grand mal convulsion, foaming at the mouth, coma and paralysis. He says it is also concerning that HPV vaccines protect against only two of the more common strains of HPV associated with cancer, HPV-16 and HPV-18, even though there are more than 100 different types of HPV, at least 15 of which cause cancer.

Charlotte Haug, writing in the September issue of New Scientist noted, “Vaccinated women show an increased number of precancerous lesions caused by strains of HPV other than HPV-16 and HPV-18 … what effect will the vaccine have on the other cancer-causing strains of HPV? Nature never leaves a void, so if HPV-16 and HPV-18 are suppressed by an effective vaccine, other strains of the virus will take their place. The question is, will these strains cause cervical cancer? Results from clinical trials are not encouraging. LifeSiteNews

Maternity Coverage Suffering Under Obamacare

Maternity Coverage Suffering Under Obamacare | Heartlander Magazine: Individuals seeking maternity coverage in the non-group insurance market are discovering fewer options are available as insurers seek to cut costs to meet the regulatory demands of President Obama’s health care law.

Greg Scandlen, a health policy expert at The Heartland Institute, says most insurers don’t offer non-group maternity coverage because of cost—those who purchase the policies are almost guaranteed to use them—and this is a problem no government mandate can solve.

“Maternity coverage is typically optional, as is prescription coverage,” Scandlen said. “So-called ‘complications of pregnancy’ are covered as regular medical services. Usually one can buy a maternity rider, but it isn’t a great deal—it amounts to dollar swapping since the only people to buy it are those planning on having a baby.”

He also suggests costs have grown because of the increased frequency of C-Sections, which have in turn been encouraged by available maternity coverage. “C-Sections are much more expensive and unnecessary in most cases. People opt for them because they are convenient—a woman can schedule her childbirth to suit her calendar,” Scandlen said. “People who are paying their maternity costs directly are less likely to pay extra for the convenience.”

Scandlen maintains expectant parents should simply ensure any complications are covered under their policy, and be prepared to pay the costs for childbirth.

Jeff Williams, the coordinator for 40 Days for Life in the large northern Texas city says, “The abortionist that has been performing abortions at Planned Parenthood is 75 years old and he lives in Tyler, Texas. For about 13 years he has driven from Tyler to Fort Worth weekly to perform abortions. With the new requirements of the law, his work load has nearly doubled in having to perform the ultrasounds on Wednesdays and Thursday morning early enough in the day to allow for 24 hours before they kill the babies on abortion days. With the significant increase in workload, the abortionist was unwilling to put forth the additional effort to continue killing babies in Fort Worth.” LifeNews

Planned Parenthood 'stealing from the public'

Planned Parenthood 'stealing from the public' (OneNewsNow.com): An unidentified whistleblower has filed a second complaint in federal court against Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. Frank Manion, of the American Center for Law & Justice says the whistleblower claims "that for at least a decade, Planned Parenthood has engaged in a widespread scheme of fraud through which they are basically robbing the taxpayer by billing Medicaid and other portions of the federal government for services that A) they never performed, B) were medically unnecessary, C) were not actually supposed to be covered under the various federal programs they were billing, and that part of this scheme was to falsify patient records and bills in order to reap this windfall to the tune of millions upon millions of dollars."

‘Abortion doula’ founder admits: ‘those pictures pro-life activists flash are real’ | LifeSiteNews.com: Mary Mahoney, abortion doula, made the chilling remark while explaining that she is sometimes hesitant to admit pro-choice activists into theprogram, since the reality of abortion can challenge the the pro-choice rhetoric in a powerful way.

“When you see the procedure, you must decide, as a pro-choice person, whether you are in or out,” said Mahoney, adding: “I have never been more in.” Mahoney’s statement strikes a deathblow against the claims of pro-abortion activists that graphic images of abortions are faked, or simply photos of stillborn babies.

Editor: Well, yes it's a deathblow, but it also shows how graphic images aren't 100% effective. I'm in favor of using them, but we have to admit foolish hearts are darkened.

The Rise of the Abortion Doula

The Rise of the Abortion Doula | The New York Observer: An abortion doula is a new concept, pioneered by the Doula Project. In essence, it’s the same as a birth doula—in fact, most practitioners do both—except that she provides support to women getting abortions who’ve chosen not to take their pregnancies to term, offering counseling, back rubs and reassurance.

A familiarity with the zodiac, it turns out, can come in handy. “We often ask patients their star-sign,” Ms. Mitchell told The Observer in an interview after the class let out. She was petite and wore a denim dress. “When patient is nervous or anxious, telling them a little about their sign can take their mind off the abortion—everyone loves to hear about themselves.” (It occurred to us that talking about birth signs might have the effect of reminding women of, well, birth, but we went with it.)

NARAL feeling threatened

As the deep-pocketed offensive against PCCs rolls across the country, you can’t help but be both bemused and proud when you read this common lament: “Today there are estimated to be more than 4,000 PCCs in the United States, dwarfing the estimated 1,800 abortion providers” (from an article written for The Nation by Kate Murphy).

Just think of the irony. The common thread of the abortionnauts is that pregnancy are enters are to deception what Planned Parenthood is to killing unborn babies: synonymous. (In a second we’ll show that this is not true of women-helping centers.) But the 100% misleading inference of Murphy’s woe-is-me comment is that the poor little old abortion industry, greatly outnumbered, is barely able to hold its own against the PCC behemoth.

Never mind that PCCs are mom and pop operations, manned almost entirely by volunteers, operating on shoe-string budgets. Never mind that NARAL and its allies have the resources and the political muscle to move cities and counties to pass blatantly unconstitutional ordinances whose sole purpose to harass PCCs. Never mind that the King of the Abortion Industry—Planned Parenthood—is a $1 billion (with a “b”) corporation which no doubt spends more each year to dispose of the corpses of 332,278 unborn babies than the budgets of all 4,000 PCCs combined. NRLC

Editor: I'm not sure I would characterize all 4,000 PCCs as "mom and pop operations." We certainly outshine the abortion clinics that are being shut down -- the houses of horror like Gosnell's.

Now that the news media has brought this to public attention, the institution is facing well-placed anger and demands for justice. Highly placed officials have been forced out.

"The federal government is investigating whether the refusal to report this child sexual abuse violated federal laws that apply because of reporting requirements attached to the large amounts of federal funding. Research at Arizona State University has found that the synthetic progestin hormone medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA), used in the injectable contraceptive Depo Provera, is linked to memory loss. “What we found was pretty shocking – animals that had been given the drug at any point in their life were memory impaired at middle age compared to animals that never had the drug. We also confirmed that in the subjects that only received the drug when young, the hormone was no longer circulating during memory testing when older, showing it had cleared from the system yet still had effects on the brain,” said researcher Braden. Lawsuit Filed Against Lansing Abortion Clinic

Lawsuit Filed Against Local Abortion Clinic - WLNS TV 6 Lansing Jackson Michigan News and Weather - WLNS.COM |: Monday Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette filed a lawsuit to shut down the Health Care Clinic in Delta Township and the affiliated Women's Choice Clinic in Saginaw. The state requires these facilities to be operated by a licensed medical professional. Schuette says Remund was not a licensed medical professional. The AG's office started an investigation into the clinics after a complaint in April 2010 saying they were disposing of unborn babies with ordinary trash in dumpsters outside the Health Care Clinic in Delta Township.
