A 2007 report from Planned Parenthood's Guttmacher Institute reveals the urgency of stopping Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood. It shows that Title X paid 15% of "family planning" cost in 2001, while Medicaid provided 61%. The 2001 total of public funding for "family planning" was $1.3 billion.
