Education For Choice: Tribute to Madeleine Simms: Pro-choice campaigner Madeleine Simms died this week. She was a fellow at the Eugenics Society in London, and a member of the Abortion Law Reform Association, which campaigned successfully for the introduction of legal abortion in the UK in 1967. She remained committed to the provision of "safe" legal abortion.
