Michigan Right to Life has compiled a helpful list of organizations that have expressed support for human embryonic stem cell research. Information comes from three sources: policy statements, membership in coalitions that lobby for the research and signatures on letters expressing public support for the research. Sadly, the list includes popular and well-known organizations such as: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Easter Seals, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Paralyzed Veterans of America, RESOLVE (the National Infertility Association), Susan G. Komen Foundation, and many, many more.
