STOPP - Stop Planned Parenthood - Government funding accounts for 46.5 percent of Planned Parenthood’s income; $1.3 million per day: We have long known that Planned Parenthood receives more government income than it was reporting under its “government grants and programs” heading. With the 2010 annual report, it changed its method of reporting income to more truthfully reveal the extent of its government funding. With the change in reporting, we find that 46.5 percent of its revenue came from government sources in 2010. That’s up dramatically from the 33 percent it reported as government grants and programs income in 2009.
