Unlicensed Pa. doctor to plead to illegally writing scrips; awaits sentence in abortion deaths - The Washington Post: An unlicensed doctor [isn't that an oxymoron?] convicted of killing two babies born alive at a Philadelphia abortion clinic plans to admit he illegally prescribed oxycodone. A defense lawyer says Steven Massof of Pittsburgh will plead guilty to the charge at a Feb. 8 hearing. Federal prosecutors say he used clinic owner Kermit Gosnell’s registration to prescribe controlled drugs to patients in 2006 and 2007.
