A question of honor

On Thursday, June 18, in the Senate chamber, pro-lifers, stared down a resolution in honor of the slain abortionist, George Tiller. Rather than praise Tiller's legacy of death, House members decided to pass a resolution condemning all violence. Militantly pro-abortion Senators tried without success to find enough sponsors to introduce a resolution paying tribute to all abortion providers and "the services they provide." Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) lamented the fact that her colleagues wouldn't support the idea. She admits people advised her to strip any mention of abortionists if she wanted to pass the measure.
