Twice as Many US Adults Poll as “Conservative” than “Liberal”

A Gallup poll has found that “conservatives” make up the largest ideological group and that “liberalism” is has declined between January and May. In a poll of 1,000 adults, aged 18 and older, interviewed by telephone, Gallup found “conservative” and “moderate” groups are close competitors, at 40 and 35 percent respectively. Those who responded as “liberals” are bringing up a distant rear at 21 percent. A further breakdown shows that 9 percent identify themselves as “very conservative” and 31 percent as “conservative.” Gallup, LifeSiteNews
