The MedSFLA National Director will be responsible for working with pro-life students to start and grow Med Students for Life groups, organize events for Med Students for Life groups like the National MedSFLA Speaking Tour and Conference, and be the public face for pro-life medical students in America.
The National Director will coordinate with leaders of pro-life medical associations and PRCs and help fill a need within the pro-life medical community by linking students to professionals. The National Director will also coordinate with pro-life legal organizations to help provide legal help to students facing discrimination on campus.
The National Director will be responsible for building MedSFLA, which will include fundraising and program development. Applicants must be passionately pro-life, willing to work long hours to grow the MedSFLA outreach, effective multi-taskers, and good public speakers. An entrepreneurial spirit is required.
Qualifications:
- Must have a four year degree
- Must be highly motivated and passionately Pro-Life
- Must have entrepreneur spirit and public speaking abilities
- Must be able to network with others in your field
- Must have excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Must have basic computer skills with use of Microsoft Office
- Must be willing to travel
- Familiarity with the medical field
- Identify and assist pro-life medical students to form their own independent campus organizations
- Work with existing medical students for life groups to increase the pro-life message on their campus
- Communicate and network with other pro-life medical organizations
- Assist with fundraising for Medical Students for Life
- Speak in front of large audiences at conferences, events, and banquets
- Develop new projects and initiatives to help pro-life medical students nationwide
