Ohio's Planned Parenthood affiliates to merge, become Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio | cleveland.com: Fueled in large part by the increased financial demands associated with health care reform, three Ohio affiliates of Planned Parenthood will merge this summer as Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio. The new affiliate will serve 68 of Ohio's 88 counties.

The move to consolidate the Northeast Ohio and Central Ohio affiliates, and Affiliates of Ohio (the public policy office for state affiliates has a governing board but no chief executive), has been in the works for more than a year, said Tara Broderick, president and CEO of the Northeast Ohio affiliate.
