Twitter CEO's wife Sara 'tweeting' in labour
Sara Williams, wife of Twitter CEO and co-founder, has been tweeting her way through giving birth to her first child. She surprised fellow twitterers today by updating her page via her mobile phone: "Dear Twitter, My water broke. . . . Now, timing contractions on an iPhone app." Sara, who has been tweeting throughout her pregnancy, has received hundreds of congratulations from well-wishers on the site. Others joked that the baby might tweet, "I'm here!" when it arrives. This may not be far from the truth in the future. Charlie Beckett, director of Polis, believes babies will soon be tweeting from the womb through audio blogging. "In the same you can email ultrasound, you will be able to 'audioboo' the throbbing of the womb." Telegraph
