We kindly request you to pray for a dear friend of The Comforter's Center: Mrs. Joanna Thompson, the Head of Care-Confidential (http://www.careconfidential.com/) in the United Kingdom. We are so shocked that she is very ill. I have never met with Joanna but she is a good link to us, connecting us to different churches and ministries in Uganda and Africa, something that turns up to be useful to us. Joanna is another person who always communicates and encourages me. Few years ago she introduced us to Africa Care for Life and the VivaAfrica (http://www.viva.org/) and today VIVA is a great partner in ministry in Uganda. We recently connected to Kabowa Redeemed Church in Kampala through her efforts. "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair." 2 Corinthians 4:8
Later: News came that Joanna died peacefully on Friday. As one of the founders of the Christian Pregnancy Counselling movement in [the UK], Joanna has been an inspiration to thousands of Christians, not only in this country, but right across the world. She has worked tirelessly in this work for over 25 years. Please pray for Philip, Mark and Becky, and their children Sam and Rachel, and for Charlotte and her daughters Chloe and Hannah.
