The speakers were in agreement that we must oppose the legislation currently being proposed because it will: Force taxpayers to pay for abortions -- something the majority of Americans oppose; Mandate that virtually every American be forced into a health plan that includes abortion coverage; Require honorable medical providers to violate their consciences and either perform or refer for abortions -- or risk losing their jobs.
