Abortion deaths up Philly homicide stats - UPI.com: The seven newborn babies allegedly killed by a Philadelphia abortion doctor and his staff will swell this year's homicide statistics, police said.
Lt. Ray Evers said all seven will be classified as black and male. He said the race and gender of only one, a black male, is known, but the FBI statistical system requires homicide victims be classified by race and gender, and most of Dr. Kermit Gosnell's patients were black. 'Males as a gender was picked, because we just picked males,' Evers said.
