Queens man convicted in stab slay of pregnant girlfriend, fetus - NY Daily News: A Queens man was convicted Thursday of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend and her fetus to death on the day she was to have given birth a baby boy.
Derrick Redd admitted that he 'hadn’t believed the child was his and urged Niasha Delain, 25, to have an abortion. Delain was stabbed 20 to 30 times in her stomach and torso on Oct. 25, 2008. The fetus was stabbed five times.
