Omega House in Grand Rapids recently hosted a PCC from Ludington. This month a group from Cadillac will be coming. They are interested to see the Heritage clinic because the women that come to their centers come to Grand Rapids to have an abortion.
It's sobering for them to see the very facility that their young people drive hours to come to. They also spend some time at LIFE International and see an actual surgical room set-up. Once they come to the Omega House (next door to Heritage), "we change the pace" a bit by showing them the lovely House (now used for post-abortion Bible studies, prayer for sidewalk counselors, and and purity weekends) and serving them a delicious lunch.
We then settle in the living room and tell them what we see as sidewalk counselors. It is a disturbing but important day for them. By supper time they are back in their city...with a greater understanding of what their young women will face when they come here to end their baby's life. Garden of Hope
