Council Speaker Christine Quinn leads charge to regulate crisis pregnancy centers' ads: More than a dozen CPCs - which in reality are run by anti-abortion groups - are scattered around the five boroughs, often near or even in the same buildings as abortion clinics. The CPCs advertise on websites and public transit and some post misleading signs, foes say, bearing such messages as 'Free Abortion Alternatives.'
