(WHO’s recent approval was for preventing post-partum hemmorhaging and not abortion.) This new “toolkit” proposes misoprostol as an alternative to manual vacuum aspirators (MVAs) for “post-abortion” care. Ipas boasts the fact that they use MVAs for abortion all over the world in countries where it is illegal. It is unreasonable to assume that the alternative of misoprostol is not also for use for abortion.
