OCs linked to bowel disease

Concerned Parents Report, Abstract, Contraception Information: The results of analysis on 14 studies showed that there is evidence of an association between the use of oral contraceptive agents and the development of inflammatory bowel disease, particularly Crohn’s Disease. The risk of those who stop using OCs reverts to levels of women not exposed to them.
