What is On Point?: On Point is a youth development program founded in 1991 and based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. On Point began as an abstinence-centered program and was founded in response to the alarming number of teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases in the Hamilton County and northwest Georgia areas. In the past 20 years, On Point has grown to equip more than 15,000 adolescents in Chattanooga and North Georgia each year with the knowledge and support to abstain from risky behaviors including sexual activity, drug and alcohol use and violence.
