False claim: Abortion is a small part of PP's business

Planned Parenthood claims abortion accounts for only 5 to 7 percent of its business. It arrives at these figures by dividing the number of abortions by the number of “services” provided, or alternatively, by the number of unduplicated clients. Research shows, however, that if PP’s abortion income ($132,809,850) is divided by the total clinic income ($374,700,000), their abortion business is actually a whopping 35 percent per of its clinic income.
