Teens who Get Intoxicated Regularly are More Likely to be Sexually Active

A new study released yesterday by the Institute of Marriage and Family Canada has revealed that teens who become intoxicated regularly and smoke marijuana are more likely to become sexually active. Teen girls and teen boys who smoke marijuana are 60 percent and 49 percent respectively more likely to be sexually active. As well, a direct relationship was found between the number of times teens become intoxicated and their likelihood of being sexually active. The study also revealed that strong associations exist between attempted suicide and sexual activity among teen girls. LifeSiteNews
