Hard-line abortion clinic inspection bill dies in committee - Dover, DE - Dover Post: A Delaware Senate committee killed legislation last week that would establish a strict mechanism for the inspection and licensure of abortion clinics in Delaware. Senate Bill 45, authored by Sen. Bob Venables, D-Laurel, was tabled indefinitely by the Health and Social Services Committee, whose member’s said the measure is designed to smother abortion providers with regulations and force them to shut down.
