Student's anti-abortion crusade has effect

A California college student says her undercover battle against Planned Parenthood is having an effect on local governments around the country. In Tennessee, legislators said Wednesday they will try to cut off a $721,000 contract with Planned Parenthood, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday. Orange County, Calif., supervisors last month rescinded a $300,000 grant for sex education. Planned Parenthood has responded by stepping up efforts to train its staff. The organization says with 30,000 volunteers and employees some people are bound to make mistakes. UPI, LA Times, LA Times blog
